Punitive damages struck from suit against Red Hot Chili Peppers guitarist

Klinghoffer is accused of running over a 47-year-old man who was walking in a crosswalk as the musician turned left from Meridian Avenue onto West Main Street in Alhambra on March 18. The pedestrian was taken to the hospital and pronounced dead hours later.
