Homeless advocate group might not have standing in SF case

The San Francisco city attorney's office seeks to dismiss the complaint about clearing of homeless camps on streets on the grounds that none of the plaintiffs have standing to pursue it.

A magistrate judge in Oakland appeared unlikely to dismiss a complaint against San Francisco by an advocacy group and several individuals after a hearing Thursday but considered whether the name organizational plaintiff, the Coalition on Homelessness, should remain in the lawsuit.
