Judge weighs whether LA acted in bad faith when it denied development

Judge Stephen I. Goorvitch appeared inclined to order the approval of a Sun Valley housing project that plaintiffs claimed was denied for political reasons.

A Superior Court judge said on Wednesday that he was inclined to order the city of Los Angeles to approve an affordable housing project in Sun Valley that it had denied but needed more time to deliberate on whether the city acted in bad faith.
