Federal judge pares back trade secret case against CoStar Group

Although U.S. District Judge George H. Wu only ruled on the two claims CoStar challenged, he agreed with only one of the defense's arguments that Move failed to allege damage or loss.

A federal judge in Los Angeles dismissed computer fraud claims against real estate listing firm CoStar Group Inc. and an employee on Tuesday, a decision that could affect the broader trade secrets dispute.
