Former Orange County supervisor enters guilty plea to graft charges

Andrew Do acknowledged taking pandemic relief money intended for elderly Vietnamese Americans.

Disgraced Orange County Supervisor Andrew Do pleaded guilty Thursday to conspiring to divert COVID-19 elderly relief funds in a bribery scheme during a hearing in federal court in Santa Ana.

"We want to respect the legal process and will not discuss the case or facts. Andrew Do's in-court acceptance of responsibility to the judge, and his apology to his family and community, was complete and sincere," Paul S. Meyer, Do's attorney, said after the hearing.
