Sony accuses CBS of mismanaging game show licensing

Attorneys for Sony claim CBS prioritized less popular shows that it owned at the expense of the two famous game shows.

Sony Pictures Television Inc., which owns and produces the game shows "Wheel of Fortune" and "Jeopardy!" claims that the shows' distributor, CBS Studios Inc. undercut them by licensing the shows at below-market rates and failing to maximize their advertising revenues.

Sony's complaint, filed in Los Angeles County Superior Court, claims breach of contract. It seeks unspecified damages.
