Jury: LAUSD negligent in child's playground brain injury

However, the jury did not rule that the condition of the playground caused the injuries. The plaintiff's attorneys have now turned their attention to damages.

A jury on Thursday found that the Los Angeles Unified School District was negligent in its supervision of a young child who suffered a traumatic brain injury when she fell on the playground at Marvin Avenue Elementary School, according to a plaintiff's attorney. The jury also found that the condition of the playground did not cause her fall.
