Governor Gavin Newsom announced an extension of enhanced state law enforcement presence in Oakland today, days after Alameda County voters recalled District Attorney Pamela Price from office.
The announcement comes after 64.89% of voters supported the recall of Price in Tuesday's election, making her the first elected district attorney in county history to be recalled.
