Certification denied in lawsuit over Apple's water resistance claims

A Los Angeles judge denied class certification for plaintiffs claiming Apple Inc. made false and misleading representations about the water resistance of its iPhones. Judge Carolyn B. Kuhl ruled that evidence presented by the plaintiffs did not demonstrate that all class members were exposed to the same or similar representations made by Apple.
