LA housing authority sued over data breach

The plaintiff claims his personal details were compromised because of a Nov. 1 data breach, HACLA's second reported data breach in as many years.

A putative class action has been filed against the Housing Authority of the City of Los Angeles over a Nov. 1 data breach.

The agency provides affordable housing to more than 83,000 families in its public housing and Section 8 rental assistance.
