LA DA-elect Hochman announces pick for chief deputy

Longtime Deputy District Attorney Steven I. Katz joined the office in 1990 and has led the Parole, Writs and Appeals and Public Integrity Divisions as well as the Airport Branch.

Los Angeles County District Attorney-elect Nathan Hochman has selected longtime Deputy District Attorney Steven I. Katz as his chief deputy, he announced on Monday.
