Justices skeptical of Nvidia's argument in crypto sales boost case

Nvidia's company leaders couldn't track revenues from cryptocurrency mining because the data didn't exist, Neal K. Katyal, a partner with Hogan Lovells US LLP, told the U.S. Supreme Court.

Nvidia Corp. has become one of the world's most valuable companies based on its leadership in computer chips used in artificial intelligence. But in 2017 and 2018, the company was profiting in part because its sales were getting a boost from cryptocurrency mining.
