Visa faces shareholder lawsuit over antitrust compliance

Plaintiffs claim the company and executives misled the public over its compliance with antitrust laws. It comes two months after the DOJ accused Visa of monopolizing the debit transaction market.

Visa Inc. and three of its executive officers were accused in a putative federal class action of misrepresenting the company's compliance with antitrust laws, which shareholders claimed harmed the company's financial health.
