Jury delivers $7.1M verdict against LA schools

The jury found that the school had been negligent in its supervision of the student on the playground.

A Los Angeles jury awarded $7.1 million to a former elementary school student who suffered a brain injury on a playground in 2017, finding the Los Angeles Unified School District negligent in its response to the accident.
