A lawmaker has renewed her push to mandate tribal judges receive the same protections from violence granted to other judges in California.
Assemblymember Esmeralda Soria, D-Fresno, introduced AB 32 on Monday during the first day of the 2025-26 legislative session. Her previous bill died this fall because of budget concerns.
