A Los Angeles judge will consider a motion to dismiss filmmaker Francis Ford Coppola's defamation lawsuit against Variety for reporting on allegations of misconduct on the set of his newest film, "Megalopolis."
Judge Christopher K. Lui heard arguments from counsel on Thursday morning, including Daniel A. Laidman of Davis Wright Tremaine LLP in Los Angeles, who appeared on behalf of Variety and related defendants.
