Paraplegic doctor wins $7.4M for inadequate residential parking

The defense argued the complex's management "responded quickly as possible to demands" and there was evidence the plaintiff was able to find alternative parking.

A federal jury in Los Angeles on Thursday returned a $7.4 million award to a Long Beach doctor with paraplegia on claims the managers of the condominium complex she resides in have been rejecting her requests for a reserved accessible parking space since 2017.
