A coalition of California gaming tribes sued cardrooms across the state on Wednesday under a new state law. SB 549 granted the tribes standing to bring a case to resolve a decades-old dispute over who has the right to offer certain casino games.
The lawsuit filed in Sacramento County Superior Court under California's Tribal Nations Access to Justice Act will almost certainly be the only one filed under the law that went into effect on Wednesday.
