'Legal Eagle' lawyer/YouTuber sues PayPal for commissions
Legal Eagle's Devin Stone accuses PayPal's Honey of scamming YouTubers by stealing affiliate commissions, leading to class action lawsuits. Honey denies wrongdoing, defends last-click attribution.
The attorney behind the popular YouTube channel "Legal Eagle" said that his clients, a group of fellow YouTubers suing PayPal Inc., "are getting absolutely screwed" and he accused the company of stealing commissions from creators through their affiliate marketing for Honey, a subsidiary of PayPal.
Honey has denied wrongdoing.
