Rep. Kevin Kiley aims to limit the California Coastal Commission's authority through new legislation, citing its overreach in decisions affecting SpaceX launches, amid debates over environmental oversight and political bias.

California Rep. Kevin Kiley said he will introduce a bill to limit the California Coastal Commission's authority. If successful, the effort could remake the governance of the state's coastline and hamstring an entity Republicans have long clashed with.
