Doctor asks extension to medically evaluate Girardi, judge asks why
A federal judge in Los Angeles ordered a hearing to find out why a North Carolina prison facility seeks more time to medically evaluate the disbarred attorney before his sentencing.
The North Carolina prison facility that's temporarily holding disbarred attorney Tom Girardi is requesting a 15-day extension of the medical evaluation that U.S. District Judge Josephine L. Staton ordered before sentencing in Los Angeles.
