Commission confirms justices to 1st and 4th District Courts of Appeal
The Commission on Judicial Appointments confirmed Alameda County Superior Court Judge Charles A. Smiley to the 1st District Court of Appeal and Orange County Superior Court Judge Nathan R. Scott to the 4th District. Both received high praise for their integrity, intellect, and judicial temperament.
The Commission on Judicial Appointments confirmed new justices Friday to the 1st and 4th District Courts of Appeal.
Several prominent legal figures praised Alameda County Superior Court Judge Charles A. Smiley as an ideal candidate for the 1st District during a commission hearing. Vernon C.
