Sable Offshore sues Coastal Commission over pipeline repairs

Sable Offshore sued the California Coastal Commission, claiming its pipeline repairs are permitted, sparking outrage from environmentalists over risks tied to a 2015 oil spill.

An offshore drilling company sued the California Coastal Commission over a letter accusing the driller of unpermitted development activities along pipelines that were the site of a massive 2015 oil spill in a case that has drawn the anger of environmental activists.
