A primer for the resistance to Trump 2.0
Normalizing Trump's crimes threatens democracy; accepting the election result doesn't mean accepting a man who undermines our values.

There are some who believe Trump's election absolved him of his crimes and that he should be treated like any newly elected President. This is a mistake. By excusing Trump's crimes we normalize them. We should never normalize attempting to overturn an election result because it was unfavorable to a particular side. Trump's criminal acts were directed at our most sacred institution: our democracy.
