Animator's lawsuit against Buena Vista over 'Moana' set to start

A $100 million trial over "Moana" distribution begins Tuesday in L.A. as a judge rejects a delay, limiting testimony on Disney+ profits in animator Buck Woodall's claims against Disney's Buena Vista distributor.

An upcoming $100 million infringement trial between an animator and Disney's home video company over the distribution of "Moana" will not be delayed and was set to begin in Los Angeles on Tuesday, a federal judge ruled Monday.
