California AG Bonta pushes for tougher antitrust penalties

SB 763 would dramatically increase penalties under the state's Cartwright Act, bringing them in line with federal antitrust laws. The proposed changes include raising the maximum criminal fines for corporations from $1 million to $100 million and extending prison sentences for felony antitrust violations.
