Lawsuits claim browser extensions divert content creator earnings

A wave of lawsuits against Rakuten Inc. alleges that the company's browser extension is diverting affiliate commissions away from social media content creators. Plaintiffs' attorneys argue the cases highlight an industry-wide issue that could reshape the affiliate marketing landscape.
