Take note regarding the use of notetakers

In the ninth season of Friends, Joey reveals to Ross that he does not understand what air quotes mean. And he proceeds to misuse them in saying, "I'm sorry," when he was truly apologizing and then "oops," when he accidentally hits Ross while opening a door. Though this type of misunderstanding may be comical in the context of television entertainment, lawyers generally want their file materials to be accurate and clear.
