LyricFind accuses Musixmatch of bribing Warner for exclusive rights deal

Battle over song lyrics rights licensing pits LyricFind against Musixmatch.

LyricFind Inc., which helps digital streaming platforms legally display song lyrics, accused its biggest competitor, Musixmatch SPA, of bribing Warner Chappel Music Inc., one of the "Big Three" music publishers, to enter into an exclusive lyric rights deal, according to an antitrust lawsuit filed Wednesday in San Francisco federal court.
