Lawsuit against Edison focuses on power remaining on after fire risk warnings

McNulty and Wood law firms sue Southern California Edison, alleging negligence in not shutting off power before the Eaton fire broke out, despite warnings of extreme fire risk.

McNulty Law Firm and Wood Law Firm have accused Southern California Edison of failing to maintain and shut off equipment they claim caused the Eaton fire that destroyed large tracts of Altadena, displaced thousands and led to 17 deaths.

Edison maintains that the cause of the fire is under investigation.
