San Jose immigration attorney appears in court on visa fraud charges

Prosecutors allege Danhong "Jean" Chen orchestrated a scheme to obtain fraudulent immigration benefits for more than 100 foreign investors through the EB-5 visa program.

A San Jose immigration attorney has made her initial court appearance on visa fraud charges after being extradited back to the U.S. from the Kyrgyz Republic, according to the U.S. Attorney's Office for the Northern District of California.
