Attorneys slammed for 'overlitigation' in $127M jet insurance case

A San Francisco judge criticized lawyers for racking up $1.2M in costs, including luxury trips, in a $127M jet insurance dispute, calling it California's priciest overlitigation mess.

A judge admonished attorneys on both sides Wednesday for "overlitigation" in a $127 million jet plane insurance case that has spawned $1.2 million in claims for costs alone - which the judge said could be the highest in California history.
