Counsel for more than 1,500 Uber passengers escalated a bitter discovery dispute in the sexual assault multidistrict litigation against the company. They asked a San Francisco federal judge to impose sanctions on Uber Technologies Inc. for disobeying court orders to produce policy documents related to internal policies for handling complaints against Uber drivers.
