9th Circuit says claims over weed killer's safety can move forward against Bayer
A 9th Circuit panel reversed the dismissal of a class action against Bayer AG over its Roundup weed killer, ruling that allegations about dangerous chemical levels were enough to survive the pleading stage.




A 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals panel has revived a class action against Bayer AG, the maker of Roundup, after concluding that the complaint included enough factual allegations to survive.
Monsanto disagreed with the decision and noted the case had been dismissed twice by the lower court.
