The Department of Homeland Security appealed a San Francisco federal judge's order blocking the termination of temporary stay status for 350,000 Venezuelans, arguing court lacks jurisdiction.

The Trump administration appealed a San Francisco judge's order halting the U.S. Department of Homeland Security's imminent termination of the temporary protected status, or TPS, that the Biden administration granted to 350,000 Venezuelans. They would have been subject to deportation on April 7.
