Retrial of Judge Ferguson in wife's shooting death set to begin Monday
Judge Jeffrey M. Ferguson, who has admitted to regular alcohol use while on the bench, claims the shooting was accidental.
The retrial of Judge Jeffrey M. Ferguson, charged with his wife's shooting death, is slated to start Monday at 8:30 a.m. at the Santa Ana courthouse in Dept. C45, court records show.
Ferguson is accused of shooting his wife, Sheryl, in August 2023 during a drunken spat about his son from a previous marriage.
