A prominent construction and civil engineering firm has sued the Santa Clarita Valley Sanitation District, claiming it did not provide adequate plans for the construction of a water treatment facility and did not specify deficiencies when it declined to pay for the project.
Plaintiff OHLA USA Inc. claims the district has hindered the project through delays, unclear requirements, and by attempting to improperly shift responsibilities for design, operations and maintenance.
