OpenAI pushes for summary judgment in trademark clash with rival
OpenAI seeks to crush a rival's trademark in Oakland federal court, accusing founder Guy Ravine of fraud. Judge Yvonne Gonzalez Rogers faces a high-stakes AI identity battle.
Attorneys for OpenAI Inc. asked a federal judge in Oakland on Thursday to grant summary judgment on its claims that a competing AI company, Open Artificial Intelligence Inc., and its founder, entrepreneur Guy Ravine, infringed on OpenAI's trademark.
