Key witness details extortion threats in State Bar trial over LADWP scandal

Disgraced former attorney Paul Paradis testified Thursday in State Bar Court that top officials, including former Chief Deputy City Attorney James Clark, pressured him to quietly pay off a legal assistant threatening to expose a scheme tied to the LADWP billing scandal.
