Judge weighs threat allegations against Marsy's Law attorney
A Los Angeles judge is navigating an escalating courtroom feud between a veteran defense attorney and a Marsy's Law lawyer representing a child victim, after allegations surfaced of threats, harassment, and antisemitic comments. With emotions running high and hearings ahead, the court has yet to rule on a request to exclude the victim's attorney from future proceedings.




A Los Angeles County Superior Court judge on Thursday wanted to ensure an "unusual" war of words stemming from alleged threats made by a child victim's Marsy's Law attorney against a criminal defense attorney was handled fairly before moving the case forward.
