Liaison counsel and steering committee appointed in Pacific Palisades fire lawsuits

The move came as disputes emerge over whether power lines or water supply failures fueled the destruction.

A Los Angeles County judge on Wednesday appointed liaison counsel and the steering committee to help coordinate dozens of lawsuits stemming from the Pacific Palisades wildfire in January, marking a critical early step in the massive litigation.
