While advising the parties to settle, a Los Angeles County judge ordered the Regents of the University of California on Monday to turn over documents related to claims of age-based discrimination and retaliation against employees at the Santa Monica UCLA Medical Center.

Judge Cherol J. Nellon granted the plaintiffs' motion for further document production but denied a bid to bifurcate the case.
