Supreme Court declines to hear challenge to California gun show sales ban

It illustrates what appears to be a reluctance by the Supreme Court to further clarify a major ruling in June 2022 that set forth a "history and tradition" Second Amendment test for state gun laws.

The U.S. Supreme Court denied review Monday of a gun show promoter's petition seeking to reverse a 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals ruling that resolved a lower court dispute and upheld California laws that ban sales of firearms, ammunition and precursor parts at shows on state-owned property.
