A Los Angeles County judge on Friday struck 18 paragraphs from a Sacramento County judge's complaint alleging that judicial officers were underpaid. The L.A. judge agreed with the state that the claims and relief sought in those paragraphs fell outside the applicable statute of limitations but allowed some discovery before deciding whether to certify a class.
