Judge orders Apple to justify refusal to restore Fortnite app

Epic Games argues Apple is retaliating for past legal challenges, escalating a long-running antitrust battle between the two companies.

A federal judge in Oakland issued an order to show cause to Apple Inc. on Monday after Epic Games Inc. accused the Cupertino technology giant of defying her injunction requiring the company to allow the popular Fortnite app on its iOS system.
