A Los Angeles County judge denied a motion Monday to disqualify a defendant's counsel in a legal malpractice matter who inadvertently received an unredacted client file from the plaintiffs' former attorney.
"My thought process is that ... what's been presented to the court is mere suspicion as opposed to reasonable possibility," Judge Maureen Duffy-Lewis told the plaintiffs' attorney on Monday.
