San Juan Capistrano attorney named to California Appellate Lawyers Fellowship Program
The academy announced Wednesday that Courtney L.C. Cefali of Cefali & Cefali, Cory D. Hernandez of the Family Violence Appellate Project in Oakland, Omer Ali Khan, a sole practitioner in Sacramento, and Christopher G. Sanchez of the California Department of Justice in Los Angeles have been selected for the competitive program.
Four accomplished attorneys -- including Courtney L.C. Cefali of Cefali & Cefali in San Juan Capistrano -- have been named fellows in the highly competitive 2025-2026 California Academy of Appellate Lawyers Fellowship Program, which recognizes rising talent in appellate law across the state.
