Orange County court launches pilot to speed civil case discovery

Court administrators anticipate that the new structure will shorten the time required to resolve discovery issues, while also freeing up court time in the participating departments for other matters.

The Orange County Superior Court has launched a new Civil Unlimited Pilot Program designed to streamline discovery dispute resolution and reduce hearing delays. The initiative, set to begin June 30, seeks to alleviate calendar congestion in several busy departments.
