China launches International Mediation Institute in Hong Kong to expand legal clout

On May 20, a spokesperson for China's Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced that the International Mediation Institute would officially launch in Hong Kong on May 30, 2025. The inauguration ceremony was attended by Foreign Minister Wang Yi, along with representatives from 60 countries and 20 international organizations.
