Sentencing delayed for former judge convicted of wife's murder
Former Orange County Superior Court Judge Jeffrey Ferguson, convicted of fatally shooting his wife, will wait until September to be sentenced after his attorneys requested more time to file motions, including a bid for a new trial.





The sentencing for former Orange County Superior Court Judge Jeffrey M. Ferguson was postponed Friday after his attorneys requested more time to file additional motions, including a bid for a new trial in his murder case.
Ferguson's co-counsel, Frances Prizzia, said the sentencing was now scheduled for Sept. 17.
